Market Commentary 5/27/2026
My screen had a lot of red on it today as row crops slipped lower today. Corn down a nickel, beans down a penny, and wheat down a dozen. Livestock markets found some strength, all closing higher. July Crude has traded back below $90 for the first time since May 6th. Corn spreads widened slightly with the Z6/H7 spread out to 14 ¾ cents. Financial markets are slightly higher today as well. July futures fell below moving averages today with the next support being the April 10th low at $4.48.
