Wheat leads the charge once again closing up 32 ½ ---closing on a 13 month high. Fund buying took over, buying over 16,000 contracts. Corn held onto strong gains at the close as it followed wheat, supported by fund buying. Other news surrounding corn has been slightly bearish, as weather over the next week is crop friendly and corn crop continues to mature ahead of schedule. Soybeans followed the buying and Nov. futures closed over 10.00 for the first time in 6 months. Hot, dry weather in Europe and fund buying are the two main trigger points behind today’s strong close. Look for more farmer selling over the weekend----watch for direction from profit-taking and weather next week.
