How do I know if I may qualify?

You qualify to apply if:

You deliver grain to Cargill.
You’re enrolled in a grain contract with Cargill.
You have delivered grain to a Cargill in the past 2 years.
You're located outside of South Dakota. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer the cash advance to customers in that state at this time.

What is the application process?

Follow these steps to apply for the cash advance program:

Qualify to apply by answering the questions above.
If you qualify, you'll be directed to fill out Cargill’s secure online credit application (takes only 10 minutes).
You will receive a credit decision from a Cargill team member within 1-2 business days.
After approval, you will need to sign an Advance Agreement and a Personal Guarantee on the advance.

A cash advance payment requires a completed online credit application and is subject to approval. Advance payment will include any existing lien holder.

How much cash can I receive and when?

Cargill customers who qualify can receive a cash advance on the number of contracted bushels they specify with a maximum cash advance of $750,000.

Corn: $3.80/bushel
Soybeans: $9.00/bushel

Receive your cash on a selected payment date of February 1, 2024 and March 1, 2024.

What is the advance fee?

Fees are as low as 7% with payments on February 1, 2024 and March 1, 2024. Actual rates are subject to credit profile and estimated exposure. Contact your Cargill rep for more details.

How will I repay my advance and fee?

Your cash advance and applicable advance fee will be deducted from your grain settlement in the fall. Repayments are deductions from first delivered bushels after the delivery period begins, not just the bushels on the contract the advance is against.

When do I deliver my grain for repayment?

Delivery repayment windows vary by location:

Hickman, KY: September 1 - November 30, 2024
Buffalo Island, MO: September 1 - November 30, 2024
New Madrid, MO: September 1 - November 30, 2024
Hales Point, TN: September 1 - November 30, 2024
Lacon, IL: November 1 - January 30, 2024
Morris, IL: November 1 - January 30, 2024
Seneca, IL: November 1 - January 30, 2024
Spring Valley, IL: November 1 - January 30, 2024
East St. Louis, MO: November 1 - January 30, 2024
All other locations: October 1 – December 31, 2024
