US exports remain very strong, yesterday private exporters reported the sale of 120,000 tonnes of U.S. corn and 100,000 tonnes of U.S. soybeans to Egypt for delivery during the 2010/11 marketing year. U.S. wheat futures led the way again this morning on expectations of increased U.S. shipments after Russia said it would extend its ban -- which had been due for review after Dec. 31 -- until late 2011. Corn was down this morning, coming off 14 month highs yesterday---off news China think its corn output will be higher next year and traders are already starting to position themselves prior to next Fridays USDA S & D report.
